Taxi

The most convenient mode of transportation but also the most expensive.

ADO Bus

Convenient, clean and reasonable at around $80 pesos ( about $8.00 USD ). Leaves hourly. You will find them at the end of terminal 2 and 3. As you exit the terminal, walk to your right.. You will be dropped off at the main bus terminal in Playa del Carmen. From there it's just a 5 minute taxi ride.

Shuttle

Shuttle service is available for about $24 usd per person. Just ask for the shuttle booth.

Car Rental Cancun / Playa del Carmen

There are several car rental agencies at the airport. Your country's issued drivers license is valid for driving in Mexico. It is about a 45 minute drive from Cancun airport to Playa del Carmen and it is relatively easy. Make sure you pick up a map from the car rental agency.
